Support 2SLGBTQ+ Education Initiatives!

Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg is back with another online 50/50 draw, this time in support of our 2SLGBTQ+ Post-Secondary Education Scholarships and the Dykes on Bikes GSA Resource Grant Program! The winner of the draw takes home 50% of the total pot; all proceeds will be used to support our Pride community outreach initiatives as well as 2SLGBTQ+ charities in Manitoba!

Dykes on Bikes® Winnipeg, CA Women’s Motorcycle Contingent is a registered non-profit organization committed to creating a local, national and international community of women motorcyclists and friends of women motorcyclists. Our mission is to support philanthropic endeavors in the Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and women’s communities, and to reach out to empower a community of diverse women through rides, charity events, Pride events and education.

The Dykes on Bikes GSA Resource Grant awards Manitoba schools with grants up to $500 to help start new or support existing GSA or Prism groups. The goal of the program is to help make our schools safer and more inclusive for the next generation of the 2SLGBTQ+ community here in Manitoba. GSAs and Prism groups are a lifeline for 2SLGBTQ+ students -- they build acceptance, belonging, and courage among our  youth. Your support will help create new spaces and keep existing ones thriving in Manitoba for our youth!

The Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg Post-Secondary Education Scholarship was created with the goal of financially supporting the continuing education goals of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in Manitoba. This is an annually awarded scholarship in the form of a one-time grant given to two selected recipients who identify as members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and show exceptional dedication to community support and growth.
