K9 Advocacy Manitoba is a registered charity that aims to provide rural and Northern First Nation communities with assistance to manage the overpopulation of stray cats & dogs.  K9 Advocacy started as a local dog rescue in 2015 and has since expanded to a large volunteer-run organization that partners with animal rescues across Canada, from coast to coast. In 2024 alone, we rescued 1325 dogs and 1105 cats, all through our dedicated foster and volunteer network.

Your support helps us to cover our HUGE vet bills, food and supplies for fosters in our care, travel to rural communities for rescues and shop related costs.  This allows K9 Advocacy to continue its devotion to ending the overpopulation of dogs in northern communities, regardless of its obstacles and making sure they get the lives they deserve.
