You could win this spectacular sculpture by celebrated Inuit artist Goota Ashoona! All proceeds go towards Inuit and Indigenous programs for youth at WAG-Qaumajuq.

Perfect for a large room or outdoor installation, Tattooed Woman (2021) is after an original drawing of Goota’s grandmother, renowned artist Pitseolak Ashoona. The drawing was translated into a print in 1963 for the Cape Dorset Print Collection and has become one of Pitseolak’s best known, an icon of Canadian art.

Valued at $10,000, painted aluminum on stone, approx 7 ft (length), 4 ft (height), 1 ft (width). Generously donated by Ashoona Studios.

WAG-Qaumajuq is a place to connect with the world around you, be inspired, and learn through art. From virtual tours and workshops to in-person visits and art making, the Gallery serves more than 20,000 students annually. Your purchase of a raffle ticket will enable more kids to access creative programming through WAG-Qaumajuq.

Thank you for your support! Draw takes place December 17, 2021.
