It's A Win- Win! Together We Ignite Spirit!

The Clan Mothers Healing Village & Knowledge Centre provides long term support to Indigenous women, girls and 2Spirit peoples who have been victims of intergenerational trauma, gender-based violence, sexual exploitation and trafficking as they begin their healing journey.

This unique village model and land based healing centre includes culturally innovative solutions for women in a community living environment, delivering restorative cultural programming, including spiritual mentorship while encouraging individual empowerment through programming, job skills training and employment through Clan Mothers social enterprise ventures.

After decades in the making, June of 2025 will mark the official grand opening of the Clan Mothers Healing Village on a 138 acres of land on the waterways of Lake Winnipeg that was returned from the wonderful team at Reseau Compassion Network and will be a great place for healing and growth for our communities. Having paired healing with social enterprise in this unique village project, our carpentry program participants were given opportunities for training, skill development and earning a good living wage. Our graduates are now employed by the Mother Earth Construction Crew, our first social enterprise and many have been on the land in the last few years, building the actual village under the guidance of our incredible partners at Parkwest Projects.

As much as we celebrate crossing substantial milestones and continued success, funding is still required to support organizational growth and the building development of the Clan Mothers Healing Village & Knowledge Centre so that we may reach more women to nurture and empower generations to come!

2022 Spring Raffle

Give A Little Good and the Clan Mothers Healing Village has partnered together to host the 2022 Spring Raffle in order to raise money to support the healing journey of Indigenous women and children that have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, intergenerational trauma, and sex trafficking.

Give a Little Good, is a fundraising club led and organized by a group of Maples Met students. The purpose of our club is to raise awareness and build a positive community—supporting causes that we are passionate about and are important to us. Our goal is to create change in the current system that traps the Indigenous community in abuse and poverty by raising funds for the Clan Mothers Healing Village.

Indigenous communities have been traumatized by the ongoing systemic violence against women and children. They continue to suffer from Human Rights violations and social injustices from the perpetrators of sexual exploitation, human trafficking, racism, and domestic violence.

Clan Mothers is led by Indigenous women and Knowledge Keepers. To solve the ongoing systemic and multigenerational trauma in their communities, Clan Mothers is in the process of building a village where women and children will have access to support through traditional Indigenous healing, spiritual mentorship, and encouragement for individual empowerment through programming and training that teaches women the skills that they need to support themselves.

With a wide array of prizes that come in two sets (Early Bird Draw & Final Draw), the 2022 Spring Raffle is open for all Manitobans to participate in.
