Together we ignite spirits when you purchase a ticket with your chance to win 50% of the growing pot and support the Clan Mothers Healing Village & Knowledge Centre. Your contributions will help us provide long-term healing programs for Indigenous women, girls and 2-Spirit relatives who have suffered from multi-generational systemic trauma, gender-based violence, sexual exploitation and trafficking.
This unique village model and land based healing centre includes culturally innovative solutions for women in a community living environment, delivering restorative cultural programming, including spiritual mentorship while encouraging individual empowerment through programming, job skills training and employment through Clan Mothers social enterprise ventures.
Over the past few years, two pilot projects have graduated participants from a 10 month carpentry program, where they moved on to be employed as skilled carpenters with our first social enterprise, Mother Earth Construction. Under the guidance of our incredible partners at Indigenous led, Parkwest Projects they have been building the village over the past few years, on 138 acres of lakefront property that was awarded by the Reseau Compassion Network. Once experiencing situations of homelessness, poverty, addictions, they have taken their power back and celebrate continued years of sobriety, earn a full time income, are furthering their carpentry skills in apprenctice programs, transitioned to stable housing and the returned care of their children. They will now be completing the Women's Cabins for the first official intake in June of 2026, giving Indigenous women, girls and 2-spirit relatives an "opportunity" to find the space to heal and prepare for a sustainable future.
The time for Change is Now! Too many of our Indigenous relatives continue to suffer as marginalized peoples in our communities, lacking the opportunity to find long-term, culturally relevant programs that will pave the way forward, healing communities for healthier generations to come!
