Shortly after his 5th birthday Henry woke up with severe pain in his side; he was taken to Children’s emergency and admitted for appendicitis. Following a successful appendectomy Henry underwent a bone marrow biopsy and aspirate to source the cause for concern in his bloodwork. He was very quickly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and began treatment immediately, five days after his initial admission. 

Henry brings BIG ENERGY! If he’s not entertaining you with a joke, riddle or ‘would you rather’ dilemma, you’ll find him forcing turnovers on the soccer pitch or dangling the puck and setting up plays at the rink. Ask Henry about himself and he’ll tell you he loves playing hockey and soccer with his friends, his favourite food is pizza, his favourite color is blue and teal, and he loves summer so he can be outside swimming, tubing and playing soccer.
