Beautiful and very sweet Lyle had a rough start in life. Rescued by a concerned truck driver at a remote northern construction site, Lyle had already suffered some traumatic events in his short lifetime. He was in obvious pain and walking was very difficult for him. We took him to our vet immediately and xrays revealed a crushed hip joint. He required orthopedic surgery to remove the femoral head which we had performed as soon as possible. After the surgery, he gradually started feeling better and he is enjoying a much happier life these days. His foster says that "to know him is to love him" - he is very gentle, playful and affectionate.
