Let's Help Thea Get Better!

Our wonderful Thea has had a difficult life. Abandoned by her owners who moved and left her to fend for herself, kept alive through the kindness of the  community and finally trapped and rescued by a wonderful rescue group, Thea came into our care with a shattered hip, likely due to being hit by a car. She was pregnant and presented us with 9 beautiful puppies. Once her mom duties were finished, Thea was able to have the massive surgery necessary to live a pain-free life. The surgery was a huge success and Thea is recovering very well! We expect this sweet and gentle girl to be available for adoption soon. The surgery was performed by an orthopaedic specialist and assisted by our vets. We are running this fundraiser to help pay for Thea's second chance at a happy ever after!
