Big Dreams for National Success
The Winnipeg Wolves Grade 10/11 girls basketball club won the Manitoba provincial championship in 2019. This season, the team has its sights set on competing in the club national championship tournament in 2020. This will require a hefty financial commitment for travel not only to that tournament in BC, but also to preparatory tournaments in the United States. Let's help these girls reach their goal!
GRAND PRIZE: 3 night fly-in fishing trip to Shining Falls Lodge (VALUE: $4400)
Shining Falls Fishing Lodge is located on Family Lake on the eastern side of Lake Winnipeg, and is reached by a 30 minute flight from Bissett with Bluewater Aviation. You will be able to choose from a 3 night, 4 person trip, with meals and housekeeping (American plan), or a 3 night, 6 person trip, housekeeping alone. Accommodations are in a fishing cabin/cottage with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Boats are supplied and Family Lake is easy to navigate. Fishing guides are extra. The trip will be in September, 2020.
SECOND PRIZE: Deluxe fishing gear package (VALUE: $600)
The package includes 2 Okuma TCS rods (Casting Rod CS-C-691MH and Spinning Rod TCS-S-691M+), 2 Okuma reels (Ceymar Spinning Reel C-30 and Ceymar Low Profile Baitcast Reel C-266W), fishing line (Sunline Plasma Asegai Braided Line 18lb 165 yds and Sunline Assassin Fluorocarbon Casting Line 8 lb 225 yds) and assorted live target lures.
